i would recommend checking if any humidifier you buy has third party source wick makers such as BestAir, as they make better aluminum reinforced wicks than the original manufacturers, because the original maker incorporates too much design obsolescence as he profit motivated wants your wick to disintegrate faster so you need to replace it more often.
