I have the 50 inch model. Buy a Roku stick for it. The Google OS is slowwww. The picture is actually pretty good though

I bought this yesterday , and while both those comments are valid, those are expected for a TV at this price point.
Most smart tv interfaces are laggy after using for a few months and need to be supplemented with a powerful streaming device for the best experience.
About this being the same price as Black Friday 2023, doesn't change the fact that CURRENTLY this is still a really good price for a 55" QLED 4K TV that supports 120hz.

Would not recommend if u have a window directly in front of the TV. I have one that I keep the curtains closed on and there's no problem but if the curtains are open, dark scenes look horrible. I have a window to the left of where the TV is mounted and there's no issues. So I guess it depends where the windows are located.

100% agree Google OS is beyond terrible give me Roku all day

I've never been a big fan of Roku because it's so tied down and lots of ads (all brands have them really). I mainly use Stremio and Smart Tube. Both of those apps are not on Roku.

This or Hisense QD6 from Costco for about the same price (or less if u take advantage of Costco direct)? Hisense is a 2024 model for what it's worth and of course Costco 3 yr warranty.

Finally picked one up yesterday, and here's my observation/review:

- the tv itself is better than the comparable hisense model (costco)
- the os (google tv) is not sluggish (maybe because its new), but i like hisense better, since it took my external drive w/o my installing different app
- sound is mediocre without external speaker. It's fine if you listen to news, and to some extent, movies, but if you crank up the volume, you'll hear the issue
- i needed to adjust/calibrate few more setting on this tv compared to hisense.

overall, just like others have pointed out, at this price, it is great tv to purchase. i am using 4k roku, and will have apple tv, so won't complain much about gtv platform

thanks for all the users who informed me/us their experiences, hope mine could add addition benefit for those who are thinking to buy
