The link you shared are reference to all benchmarks. In gaming, single thread speed and latency are much better, which is why I was referring strictly for gaming. I think overall, the 14700F is better processor, but if strictly speaking gaming, I think the 7800X3D is better.

I will defer to someone with more technical knowledge in this matter though

Better on benchmarks but the recent news and stories about the 13th and 14th gen Intel processors are worrisome.

The Costco deal also has liquid cooling but I'm not sure how much of a difference that is.

Nope. That's a 4070, which is a noticeably slower card than the 4070 super in this deal.

I thought the problem was with the xx900 series? These costco ones have the 14700 which I don't recall being mentioned as having trouble.

The ti super is about 10% better than the 4070. If all other specs are the same then technically it's a slightly better PC as long as it can be cooled right. This CPU is excellent, you're more likely to experience a CPU bottleneck if you have a good GPU and not great CPU. This is a powerful combo IMO. Upper mid level
