That's like saying apples for losing weight. Oranges for gaining weight.

Someone can lose weight with ON (blends) and not just isolates. This type of breakdown you gave will make someone magically think isolates helps them lose weight.

Ordered MyProtein many times havent had a problem (knock wood).

One time I was charged tax and Myprotein refunded it easily via a request in chat. Again, last time ordered they automatically didnt charge sales tax.

Just wonder if there are mistakes in terms of understanding specific state tax laws on food.

Anyone know of good deals for unflavored and/or isolate?

i love saving money but the sucralose and just annoyance of the strong flavors makes some unbuyable.

That's not a fact. Protein powder is a little bit more than convenience. Protein powder is overrated when it comes to professional bodybuilding - any bodybuilding for that matter. If you only knew the dark side of bodybuilding.

Wut? Drugs (steroids) help strength and recover faster (why they can workout 2 times a day), protein contains amino acids, the only substance on earth that rebuilds muscle fibers. Protein is absolutely critical for bodybuilders.

Exactly! The whole protein factor is overrated. If you only knew the drugs these guys take and the food they eat you'd be surprised (like the kid who eventually finds out WWE is staged). Protein powder/high protein diets are one of the most brilliant marketing schemes ever! No one could consume the amount of protein they need on a regular basis. The sauce provides the gloss 😆

I've gotta say that after a decade of buying myprotein, I'm surprised to see them sell through Costco. Especially after all of the complaints over the last year or so about prices and customer service.

I still buy from them and have been happy with their products over the years.

FYI, their 5.5 lb bags are $50 if you do a subscription order on the myprotein website. I also got a few free add ons that make it an even better deal.

It's like Amazon's subscribe and save program. Just cancel the subscription when your first order ships.

$56 for a 6 lb bag is like a $1.50 saving

Also, this is a lot sweeter than dymatize protein. I had to cut my order with unflavored whey isolate.

The others are correct about ON being a blend. Even my bottle that says "ISOLATES" on the front is a blend of isolates, concentrate, and peptides.

We're pretty confident the professional body builder knows what he wants. Generally speaking (which is what he was doing) doesn't have a clue. Just wants a quick general probably answer. Otherwise he'd be researching instead of asking here.
