That's like saying apples for losing weight. Oranges for gaining weight.

Someone can lose weight with ON (blends) and not just isolates. This type of breakdown you gave will make someone magically think isolates helps them lose weight.

I honestly love the taste of sucralose. I hope they make some stuff for everyone else, but I pray they continue to pump out sucralose products. It's by far my favorite 0-calorie sweetener.
Amen! Monk and Stevia taste like garbage, can't stand them.

I receive and respect what you're expressing, but research has proven otherwise. Surplus protein isn't necessary.
I think what's more important factor to the conversation is that the average person generally never pushes their body to the limit to warrant even the conversation of whether or not .8g or 1.25g of protein per lbs of bodyweight is even a thing.

You can choose whatever hobby you like and find similar equivalents, eg, golfers spending thousands and thousands on clubs and still shooting 100s. Makes no sense but folks will choose to create their own truth no matter what research may say.

Also, anecdotally, I won two actual local natural bodybuilding competitions eating less protein than any of these online programs recommends (clocked in at around .8-.9g/lb). It don't make a damn difference tbh.

Exactly! Research was pointing to athletes needing less protein than sedentary folks. I trained bodybuilders in the early to mid 90's. Protein wasn't as big as it is now. Yet, those men and ladies were huge and muscular. Kudos for your natty competition wins!

What happens when someone ingests palm oil?

How so? I did say weight control not weight loss. And that's true someone could do just that but that's going to be more on the anecdotal versus the general. People buy ISO knowing that it is lesser in calories as well as fat. It's a given. But with on gold you really don't have key elements because it's all around whey. So if you're trying to put on muscle but don't want to put on much fat you'll look towards ISO or hydro. No one's going to think on gold for that. On gold is the safe for all uses, works in every aspect but doesn't excel in them.
Dude....the largest benefit of Isolate over blends is the calories and/or the lack of lactose.

That's literally the lion's share of the benefit.

If someone has a lactose sensitivity, they won't do well with anything with whey concentrate.

$/gram of protein, whey concentrate is a better value. Iso is more expensive, while hydro is ridiculously expensive.

Used to get MyProtein isolate direct from them and I never had a problem with their flavors but I got the vanilla one here and it has an aftertaste that reminds me of a flintstones vitamin.

Didn't bother trying the vanilla, but the salted caramel is way too sweet. Returned them both.
