HDR at this price point is an advertising gimmick. Full array local dimming or at least local dimming is needed for real HDR. Most panels VA/IPS at this level are physically incapable. HDR is irrelevant for this monitor.

This VA monitor is great bang for the buck. Most people don't sit at an angle when gaming. Color pops and black is black with a good VA panel.
