Deal Details
The difference between the smaller version verses the larger one is 20 more ounces of coffee (40-60). The machine brews in 8 minutes or so. Makes excellent coffee. The filter has a shutoff valve to fully saturate the beans if desired. My experience is it does make a minute difference but not worth the effort. Plus, it is easy to forget you closed the valve. The carafe keeps coffee hot for 2 hours plus with steam coming off of it when poured. I have made several half pots. They are excellent. I do close the valve when making half pots to ensure the grounds are fully immersed ( a minute or so). It is just as good as the full pot. It does use coffee though. Depending upon your taste it will use anywhere between 80-120 grams of coffee per full pot (1pound=454g). Same equivalent to 40 ounce strength. How many cups does 60 ounces of coffee make? 5 1/2 cups for me that I drink. Lastly, the left over coffee heats up well in the microwave with no burnt taste. The large Bunn filters work well.
