This is the same outfit that let me order a new one for $100 months ago (along with the $35 plan), and then sat on the order for weeks before saying they were sold out.
You would then have an unactivated phone that could be used on wifi (like a mini iPad). After 60 days, the phone would become unlocked so it could be used on another carrier? Am I missing any details here? For us, the use case would be to have an unactivated phone for our child to use (for things like FaceTime and YouTube) when connected to wifi.

just get a iPhone 12 mini instead if you want it smaller.
the oldest design that SJ made original CEO was the best design look wise this new CEO cook made it look worse while charging more.
also this price should be for iPhone 12 not iPhone SE. I'm not biting let them purge all the old iPhone designs first they are so inferior to the old iPhone SE design.
but why are these companies asking for more than free for a 3 year old phone?
I'm not even going to bother humoring them.
straight talk ended up just refunded me. no replacement sent

Happened to me also. I opened an investigation with no resolution from UPS. I ended up doing a chargeback with AMEX.

Serial number indicates the phone was purchased in October 2023 with warranty until October 2024, but the Battery stats say the battery has only had 1 cycle. Did I just luck out with the phone being unused, or has the battery been changed out?
Status from the Analytics log says the Original Capacity of the battery is 2085 mAh, current is 2055 mAh, and capacity relative to new is 98.56%.
Online says the iphone SE 2022 OEM battery is 2018 mAh so wondering if this has been changed out

1. The battery level is high enough that it's mAh rating is still above what is considered the "full" rated capacity for that model. For instance, I've been using my SE 3 daily for about 8 months and it still shows 100% battery health in Settings. When looking at more detailed battery specs, I see that my original battery capacity was 2097 mAh and ithe current max capacity is 2005 mAh. Since the rated capacity for the phone is 2018 mAh or something along those lines, the health stat probably doesn't actually start dropping until it gets under that baseline number by a full percent or so. (In other words, new phones ship with batteries a bit over 100% of their "rated" capacity … kind of like how you fill your gas tank and drive 20 miles but the needle still shows it at the completely full mark.)
2. They might have replaced the battery.
Given that this model is still so new, I'd tend to lean toward explanation #1.
