Not asking specific to the milwaukee model, but how are these blower attachments in general? I can't see why or how this would be better or more convenient than a battery leave blower.
Does anyone own one? Your thoughts? I have a Fuel Quik-lok and if this can really do 500cfm at over 120mph, that's 50 more CFM than the m18 Fuel blower.
I have the quick-lok string trimmer and had been eyeing the blower attachment for a while, but couldn't find it for less than $159. That's why I jumped on this deal when I saw it. I can't speak to how it works because I haven't received it yet. I have a relatively small yard, so I won't mind switching out the quick-loc accessories when needed. If I had a larger yard, I'd likely opt for a dedicated blower, instead.

The Quik-Lok blower attachment should probably be compared to the Gen 3 Fuel blower (3017-20), which matches the specs and is a little quieter (59dba vs 54dba). The Gen 2 Fuel blower (2724-20) is a good bit older now.
I see the Powerhead unit going for $130-135 on Ebay. I have plenty of Milwaukee batteries so I would give it a try if something like the recent Ego promo $300 off $500 purchase.

I have both I prefer the gen 2 much lighter! Yes gen 3 is silent as compared to gen 2 but the 50 cfm not worth it

I'm tempted to get this, but already have a blower... I wish the quik-lok brushes went on sale. That's what I'm waiting for.

I upgraded from the 2724-20 (Gen 2) to the 3017-20 (Gen 3) recently. I have a smaller yard, so I didn't notice the weight difference (I couldn't find a lot of stats online, but according to Milwaukee the 2724-20 is 4.9lbs and according to Ohio Power Tool the 3017-20 is 5.12lbs), but the difference in sound (both level and tone) made it a huge and worthwhile upgrade for me. The additional 50CFM is maybe occasionally noticeable for the work I'm doing, so the noise level was definitely the driver for me to upgrade.

3017 is a great blower. I would highly recommend it and highly steer people away from the 2724. The new cruise control switch is a game changer and the 500 cfm feels real
