I love the seventh gen powder. It absolutely out-cleans cascade powder and is just $0.07 to 0.08 per load. Leaves no residue, gets baked on cheese off reliably. About 70-80 loads per box including pre-wash.

If you're skipping pre-wash by using a pack/tablet, you're most likely giving up cleaning performance vs just using a high-quality dry detergent like the seventh gen. Youtube channels have tests on the tabs vs proper prewash+mainwash use and found the tabs often underperform regardless of cost vs a quality DRY detergent (which Cascade is NOT). Consumer reports stopped testing powders because everybody in America has fallen for the pre-packaged convenience factor....and the liquids are NOT as good as the dry powders. Shame on you Consumer Reports.
