Having a stroke there pal?
I have had a back yard for decades and have not yet felt the need to fog it in any way. What are my yard and myself missing out on?
If you don't know why you need it, you',re not missing anything, you're just a lucky guy.

Works good ? Going start using a fogger and the 5 gallon bucket with dunks method
I can't speak to the fogging method, but the standard hose application of the Cutter Backyard with a couple buckets and dunks with some Permethrin treated hammocks has worked great for a week or so now.

I don't know if the Cutter bottles "expire" but I've definitely had mixed experience depending on batches.

It works well enough. The outdoors are unbearable in the summer with all of the trees around.

What generic chemical are you using for mosquitoes?

I think I got like 6 of these from that deal a couple years back just sitting in the garage 🥹

edit: they're different and much smaller. Need to chuck them in the donation bin already

I grabbed a fogger for 15 bucks as I got enough batteries already here. Just moved from a cleared backyard to the woods and man … the bugs.

Was going to buy a spray attachment for my EGO but thinking of trying this out for the price.

Mosquitos and gnats are awful in our part of the country (Ohio). If we're going to be out by the pool at night I fog an area 30' around our patio to keep the buggers away.
What chemical do you use? Gnats are terrible here in upstate NY as well. I am looking for a good solution.

Can this be used for bubbles if you put the solution in the tank?

Ordered both the sprayer and the fogger to deal with insects near my pool. Thanks for the tip!

I've always bought Ryobi tools from Home Depot - any issues I take it back there any they replace or in rare occasion service. How does 3 yr warranty work when purchased through Woot - I assume we have to send or bring to a local authorized service center (which does not usually include HD)?

Most (or maybe all) fogging solutions available at hardware stores are oil based, meant for propane type hot foggers. The Ryobi fogger just makes a cold mist which is then blown out with the leaf blower type part.

The correct chemicals for cold foggers like the Ryobi would be Pyrethrin based concentrate for immediate killing (Riptide), and Bifenthrin based for lasting effects (Talstar P or Bifen IT). You can find bottles of them on Amazon or DoMyOwn. One bottle of concentrate should last you a long long time. Bifenthrin is also great in a pump sprayer around the perimeter of your house and around doors and windows to repel crawling bugs.

::shrug:: They just sold the Cutter stuff next to the Ryobi foggers in the store so that's what I used. It seems to work fine. They also sell Black Flag next to those foggers.
