I have had a back yard for decades and have not yet felt the need to fog it in any way. What are my yard and myself missing out on?

I have gotten 2 of these as free gifts for buying other tools. They have been giving them away, and I figured I'd give them a try. They have both broken after the first use.
Can you elaborate? I have some too that I haven't touched and would love to not break them.

If I put vodka in the bottle and crank this sucker on in the background at a party, will it get us all tipsy ?

No mosquitos?! Where do YOU live? I'm rdy to move there now
Do you live under a rock? Presuming you're in America... I just don't know why I would guess that... But there are wide swaths of the country where mosquitos aren't a big deal. They don't exist at all in Hawaii... but that's not as easy option... but in urban areas on the west coast I've never had issues with mosquitos. Nor in Colorado... but I also don't hang near middle elevation lakes in CO. maybe there are areas where they're an issue. But never had issues in Denver or up in the 10 mile range. Although living at 8-11k' of elevation isn't for everybody.

New Mexico/Albuquerque is reasonable from what I remember, but it's been a while... and certainly Phoenix and Vegas are too, but... extreme heat. I've never had much issue even east of the Cascades in the NW unless camping by mountain lakes or streams.

The other thing these places also generally lack... humidity and heat at the same time. :-) It's a big country, and a big planet.

You must be new. Woot! has been a regular SD buying place and been around forever. It's parent company is Amazon. I haven't heard anyone ever call it a scam site, until now. I've shopped there plenty of times and never had an issue.

I think either because of where you live or possible your own unique pheromones attracting mosquitos less than the average person, you are unaware about mosquitoes and how pervasive they are. What makes you think they don't exist in Hawaii at all? Here is a flyer from the Hawaii dept of Health listing the 5 different mosquito species on the islands and how to manage and prevent them. I live in an urban area on the West Coast, had family in Vegas for 20yrs, and have spent time in Oregon near the Washington border, and all of those area have mosquitoes. Sure they're nothing like some other parts of the country but they can still ruin whatever you're doing. Or even worse, not we have to watch out for West Nile Virus transmitted by them. How big of a problem they are is mostly based on how well you prevent breeding grounds from forming. Apparently as temperatures increase with climate change they're living at higher and higher altitudes, even CO is experiences increases in west Nile virus because of them.
