If it doesn't have PEA, not sure how good it can be as that ingredient seems to be the only chemical that can break down deposits at high temperatures.

It could help clean fouled injectors, but yeah if you're already using quality name brand gas with good detergents (e.g. Shell, Exxon, BP, Costco, etc.) your injectors are probably in good shape and this won't do much of anything for you.

The only real way to get GDI valves cleaned is with walnut media blasting unfortunately.

If you have modern turbo you probably need to get the DI-Jectron instead. This is recommended for port injector engines not gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines.

LiQui Moly, as a brand is pretty popular with European car owners especially enthusiasts.

I really don't think any fuel additive helps clean fouling in direct injection engines. They can only help minimize it. Only way to clean would be to use something like this, or sea foam, or even simple carbuerater cleaner in the intake or in a vacuum tube to get it to essentially splash on the valve stems and seating surfaces of the valves and wash deposits off that way.

Still, doesn't hurt to run one of these through your engine every oil change or two.

I have had great results out of it on my vehicles. I try to get Chevron, best gas in my opinion. Also use their additive if I can't get Chevron. I ran this through and on my 2008 GMC Sierra with 300,000 miles. Notable difference after the third bottle. That's was on mainly Murphy gas. Seafoam did well also, but I have started using Liquid Moly more regularly on my vehicles when I catch it on sale.
