No. Sapphire is the hardest element used in tech products as a screen cover. This will not scratch. Bang it off rocks, keys, sand, dive with it, throw it in a drawer, and it will be fine. It is susceptible to breaking do don't literally bang it off a rock. If it is actual sapphire, it will not scratch unless a something in the diamond family comes in contact with it.

shipped and sold by some unknown seller. no thanks (especially when spending $500 on a watch that is normally $1,000). If it sounds too good to be true . . . my guess is that they're taking advantage of Prime Day and getting people to drop $500 on a watch that is a, "steal."

it will definitely go lower because the epix model will be discontinued. there will only be fenix 8 coming in a few months. if you can wait till black friday, I'm sure it will be lower than this.

I bought the 955 over 965 and epix 2 because the AMOLED screen is too bright, wears out battery faster, and 2x more expensive for practically the same watch. Good deal if 955 wasn't also on sale.
