Great movie but I don't see it as a repeat viewing movie most of Nolan's films.

Down to $14.19.... guess I'll bite for that plus 7% back. Usually I wait for $10 deals but this is one I really want to see.

I'm still holding out for $10. Maybe it will in 2025. 😉

I think $10 will be the Black Friday price. From previous SD threads:

1/18/24- $23
3/11/24- $20
5/14/24- $19
6/11/24- $17
7/17/24- $15

I would respectfully disagree. I've watched it more than 2-dozen times now, and I still love it as much as when I first watched it. That's not to discount any of his other incredible films either.

I bought it. I would hold out for $10 or less like some have mentioned but with Best Buy no longer selling media, I don't know enough about other online retailers holiday pricing. I never noticed the special end caps of various movies at Walmart and Target like Best Buy would have during that rush. My Black Friday routine would be to spend $100 on cheap movies that I wanted to buy over the last two or three years. Never looking for that one big TV or some other deal that you had to step over people to get, it was therapeutic to get a dozen movies, experience the rush, and get outta there. Hopefully Walmart or Gruv takes the torch from Best Buy.

Kinda agree and doubt I'll buy at all like all of his other movies.

Nolan doesn't care for object based soundtracks, not gonna pay these prices for half an upgrade.
TBH most aren't even reference PQ transfers!

The wife and her family refused to watch this movie since they replaced Arthur Holly Compton with Einstein.

What do you find so intreging about this 3 hour movie to watch it that many time? There no special effects or plot twist that require repeat viewing. It's a good movie, I don't think I will ever watch it second time.

Quite literally everything. He captured all the major points from the book while thoughtfully taking some creative liberties to help tie the events together and to better explain it. The in-camera visual effects are done very well, the soundtrack is breathtaking and helps keep the suspense (particularly during the countdown), acting is superb from everyone involved. Dialogue, although very fast, is well-done. Cinematography, as usual, is exceptional from Nolan. It's just a very well-rounded movie to me. He literally pushed the physical limits of what an IMAX film platter can hold, and was able to fit it all within those constraints. Definitely his best work to date, in my opinion.

This movie was I believe 12 dollars at best buy a few months ago. Maybe I can wait a bit to get it at that price.
