Hardly a normally $30 price. I hope everyone shopping these prime day deals uses a tracker to notice that these have been hovering around $14 for the past while.

Never could understand why all these duffel bags have black lined interiors.

"Yay! Let me reach into a pitch black bag to try to find a loose item!"

That's been typical of a lot of these so-called "PRIME ONLY" deals.

Saw a toolbox on sale for $10. MSRP of $16, hovers between $10-13 normally. A few days ago, it was $10 with a $1.50 amazon "rebate" on it -- bought two at that price. Now, it's $10 PRIME SUBSCRIPTION ONLY unless you want it for the full MSRP.

Just an excuse to boost their subscription sales. Nothing more, nothing less. Give it a few days, and it'll be back to normal pricing.

Spec-Ops Brand recognized that with their military back packs and used a mustard/sunshine yellow inside their bags... made life so much easier for the guys in the field to locate their stuff in low light.

You'd think it'd be common sense. As in, have literally anyone use a bag and they could tell you that.

The part i hate about the lining is it will eventually start to fall apart and come off in pieces. I have a bag (not Rockland) from 10 to 12 years ago. Used it a lot like a lot a lot and the outside looks good still but the inside just keeps flaking and chipping off. If they didn't line it I'd still be using it as a get-home bag.

More than one bag has that plasTIK liner that just disintegrates over time. Doesn't matter how much or how little you use it, these bags just fall apart. Worse is when they use a different material and it becomes sticky/tacky. There's no rescuing that.

Agreed one deal was a lightening deal today for phone chargers for the car but I've been following for a bit and it looked familiar so I checked SD and found it's been consistently cheaper many times over the past year. It's like WTH.

Its a mix. I have probably 50-70 items on my keepa watch list... These prime deals triggered a LOT of my price alerts... Meaning the prime deal was, in fact, the best deal I've seen on it since I've been watching the item, if not all time low price.

But when im looking through keepa, im also seeing a lot of items im watching exactly how you describe. the prime deals are deals based off of the price they just jumped to recently, but were cheaper a week ago.

Funny how all the deals posted to slickdeals fit the latter category... surely it couldnt have to do with them being posted by slickdeals staff!

Price drops definitely catch staff members' eye, but they check any price history available to make sure the deal will meet the community's expectations. But sometimes SDers are the best source and their feedback helps staff improve.

Shhh, don't insult the staff. They'll ban you out of spite.
