Other than that it's a decent card and the Eno one-time/one-vendor card numbers are very helpful.

I got ventrue x already this year. can i get lounge access for wife using mine? or add her as additional card holder if she got the Venture card?
We dont travel much now, but she like the lounge access and may start more travel starting next year.
I thought may be get this card now, get the bonus and if we going to travel, then upgrade.
75k + 250 credit - 100 = $150 better than venture x card (until we use much of travel benefits). Is there any reason for me to upgrade her now to venture x card? Is my logic flawed?

C1 seems to not do product changes like chase/amex. They may require your wife to apply again for venture X in future. Best to wait a year and contact CS to see if it can be upgraded so you get the $400 total credit on the X vs no credits and still paying $95 annual fee on venture.

Any suggestions on a travel credit card that uses a good portal? I thought Citi would be good because they use booking but they limit what's available from booking and we found it worthless.
This Venture offer is good to get the 1k value if you don't mind having to try to upgrade in year 2 to Venture X or having to apply for Venture X then canceling the Venture after.

You do get 10000 points yearly but only starting the first year anniversary.

I will add her to my card.
Is there another big signup card at the moment? Building deck and got room to meet big bucks in 3 months. Would payoff immediately, so apr doesn't matter as well.
And turkish for Hawaii flights!

That person was incorrect. You can downgrade and upgrade. But you shouldn't do this because it would make your wife ineligible for the Venture X sign up bonus.
My wife and I both got the Venture X. I downgraded to the venture one (since I've had this card in the past). She was an authorized user on my venture x before she got her own. Now I'm an authorized user on her Venture X.
If your wife gets this sign up bonus, it would be better for her to product change to Venture One after one year because she would still be eligible for the Venture X sign up bonus.
Also, another benefit of adding her as an authorized user is that you can pool points. Meaning all her Miles from her Venture can be transferred from her account to yours. This must be done online (not via the app) on her end.
I'm surprised that no one called out the fact or even on the DOC site that cap1 doesn't have any Marriott/Hilton/hyatt /ihg travel partners like Chase.
I found out hard way after I got the spark miles and only transfer partners are airlines
