Harbor freight sells their Bauer model for the same price. I think I'd trust that more than this Skil one that seems to only have paid reviews on Amazon. I'm leaning towards paying more and getting a corded model though.

Right, I don't see the benefit of a cordless model. Hopefully this isn't a tool that you would need to use regularly and frequently, and I wouldn't want to keep the battery on the charger.

This is a pretty specialized tool.
Most people will be better off with a $30 sewer auger that has a manual reel + power drill attachment.

Over the past 10 years, we had two drains that needed a power auger. Both times we rented a powerful one at Home Depot and returned it the same day. Unless serious clogs happen a lot, I'd rather just rent a commercial one.

Had my kitchen sink clog a month ago and just unclogged my buddy's bath tube. These are really handy. I bought the Ryobi 18v because I have a lot of their batteries. I would have jumped on this one instead.

If I didn't already have a bigger Ryobi unit, I'd buy this, great price for what it is. And at $69 CCC is showing this is probably the lowest price it's been.

Ah...i see it in the description, thanks. Now make the 20v compact blower compatible and also add angle grinder in 12v. Hope Skil expands their 12v line!

How much was the cost? I am thinking of just paying $15/month to home warranty for interior clog coverage but they cover 2 clogs per year.
