I just got one 220w bifacial foldable solar panel as part of bundle product from EcoFlow, they feel so fragile. In the process of adjusting the angle so to get full Sun direct light, it cracks!!! I couldn't tell if there was crack already when arrived or it cracks when adjusting! But it's so fragile and delicate! Can't believe this product is built to withstand outdoor environment!? Anyone who owns it please share!!! But Be aware!!! FYI , The one I got is using kickstand on the back to adjust the angle. I assume it's the latest design.also, when it is took out from package box for the first time, unfold and lay on the floor, it doesn't lay flat. It feels rigid.

How Can I link this with my 110 watt eco flow panel into one battery?

This is my second week trying to learn about this - and I get most of my education for most things from SD…. Smilie

I ordered a 160 Watt refurbished Ecoflow panel from ebay a couple of days ago. It was $145 with the coupon. The picture showed the old style with the case being the stand.

It got delivered a few minutes ago. I was surprised to see the box. It showed the newer style with the metal kickstand. I couldn't believe it. i opened it up and sure enough it's the new style. Nothing on the box says Nextgen but it does say "25% high conversion rate".

It will. But at that point, best to go with other 3rd party solar panels that are much cheaper.
that doesn't make sense. if they want a good solar panel they should get this. There is literally nothing proprietary between a solar panel and what it feeds into.

Buy the MC-4 splitter (2 to 1) and use them in parallel.
this is just part of the answer. you need to research how to pair up panels, it is recommended to pair similiar spec panels, eg. an Anker 200w 5amp with a Ecoflow 200w 5amp , when you don't do this , depending on setup, sometimes your output will be the least of all panels.

Not a suggestion but I've tested the Flex Solar 140w panel from Amazon. It's pretty good: quality panels and I can get around 92w out of the panel at full sun. However, I returned it to get this EF since price per watt is not much different and this one has adjustable built-in stand and name brand, while the other has fixed angle stands.

Dumb question. I just bought 8x 12v 280ah batteries from ecoflow and I'm mostly interested in experimenting with hydro but if I buy this can I use it on those too (albeit slow charge) or is there a minimum # of solar panels for that 48v 560ah 28.6kWh setup?

Whether you run in series or parallel, something will always be the lowest of the individual panels.

In series, the current/amps will go by the lowest panel.

In parallel, the voltage will go by the lowest panel.

So, let's say you have a 220w and a 160w panel you want to run together. If the specs of the 160w are 20V/9A and the 220w are 22V/12A:

Series: 20V+22V=42V, but only at 9A.
Parallel: 9A+12A=21A, but only at 20V

Meanwhile, if you had 2x220w panels with the same spec, it would be:
Series: 44V @ 12A
Parallel: 22V @ 24A

This is why it is always better to match up panels so the voltage and current are the same, otherwise you'll take a hit, one way or another.

I'm not saying this cable won't work but I think the Delta2 uses an XT60i connection. I think it can handle more power. Anyway, the delta 2 comes with that part of a cable so you really would do better to just get an extension cable with MC4 connectors on both ends.

I found this website to be helpful in laying out the various scenarios for mixing panels: https://footprinthero.com/solar-p...calculator

To the point above, if you are in series you are limited by the panel with the lowest current. If you are running in series and one panel is in a shadow due to a cloud or a tree or something else it will drop the current of the whole system! That is why I like to run in parallel unless I am in full sun.

wow i was working in an R&D in California back in 2005 they barely made it 13% efficiency, 20 years later it only double efficiency i thought it would go at least tripple by now Smilie still a good number if it really 25%
