Previously ordered this in the black heather and a lighter color. The content info is printed on the inside of the shirt, and it's so dark I couldn't make it out on the black heather. However, it was legible on the lighter color: 53 poly, 47 cotton. So, actually a poly blend, not a cotton blend. Caveat emptor.

Thanks for the tip. Will go with the light color per your suggestion. I will take the blend as the poly holds up better in the washing machine.
I bought a few of these when Amazon had a similar price a couple of months ago. They are good workout shirts if you don't want to wear a clingy 100% synthetic sports jersey. The fabric is thin and wicks pretty well. I don't wear sunscreen under the shirt and haven't had any problem with sun burn. Construction is pretty simple and not contoured, hence the cheap price.

I machine wash cold, tumble dry low, and take them out of the dryer before they are 100% dry. I haven't noticed any shrinkage. Polyester clothing doesn't like high heat, so I am careful to avoid washing in hot water or high power drying.
