I got excited because the pictured showed the black one on sale. However, it's their curated color (gray). Nevertheless, this is an awesome car seat. You can literally swap it from one car to another in a matter of two minutes and the installation is tight every time.

Heard curated color is lower quality. Anyone have experience with that vs a normal color like black?

I have the curated gray, black and a pottery bar edition. They are all the same.

The only one that is a lower quality fabric is the "refined" from Dillards but same quality frame. I just prefer the fabric on the others over the refined. I would assume Nordstrom has a high quality one based on the full price. Dillards is always $50 lower than the MSRP of the black and other standard colors

Do we know when the next sale price is going to be? Having baby at end of year and space is limited, rather buy closer to due date than sit for 5 months.

Sitting for 5 months will go by quick! I would buy and store…just like all the diapers from all the target spend $100 get $30 back haha.
