Brightness is worth an extra $600 more than C3?
I think it really depends on the brightness of the room you are putting it in.
Another thing to consider along with the price is what is included in the box.
If you plan to mount the TV, the G3 comes with a mount, but not a stand. The C3 comes with a stand, but not a mount. That makes the decision quite a bit easier.

if you plan on mounting, you'd have to buy a mount for the C3. That brings the total cost between the two TV's down a bit.

Both are great TV's. Also, more apps are coming to WebOS. ESPN was added recently.

Is this the best 65" TV out there? OLED and the G3 model. Anyone had burn in issues on this model?
LG covers 5 years for the panel with their G series. Any burn in issues with this TV is fully covered for up to 5 years

I would say so, picture looks a lot more vivid.

In what ways?
If you have to ask - the C3 is probably the better choice for you. But yes, extra brightness is definitely worth it in the 2023 models unless you exclusively watch in a dark room.

I personally believe the 65" LG OLED G3 is the best 60-70" TV out there for people who like immersion. I bought an open box unit few months ago and I love it.

The question of whether or not it's the best for you is specific to the size of your room, viewing angles, mounting preferences, lighting conditions, and even the kind of content you like.

The room I have my TV in is only about 180 sq. ft. and has windows on one wall—facing north. I decided a 65" TV is the right size for my room.

I would have liked to get the 77" G-Series because I heard it's a 40% surface area increase, but it would have been overwhelmingly bright since it's a smaller room. So between 77" C3 and 65" G3, I went with the G3 because I sometimes watch when it's sunny out and chose brightness over screen size.

I have a Hue Sync box with a gradient light strip, so I already like to watch my content in dark room situations. I also game on my TV and enjoy watching anime, which often has high contrast and deep blacks. Perfect for OLED.

I previously used my 65" C2 in this room, which I still really enjoy, but since working from home, I noticed that it doesn't perform as well when it's very sunny out.

Instead of having a QLED in this room, I decided to get a brighter OLED and move my C3 to a bedroom.

My girlfriend does not know about TVs, but she said it was a very noticeable difference in brightness and color "pop". So for me, it was worth the upgrade because we both enjoy the change.

How much extra is it worth over the C3?

Well I really like having my old C2 in my bedroom now and the G3 downstairs is soooo so bright that I actually need to turn the pixel brightness down for eye comfort, even when it's still light out.

The G3 also comes with a 5-year panel warranty for burn-in, but not for other stuff like spills and accidents. So it's not a 1-for-1 comparison to a BB or Costco promise, but it's something you won't get with C3/C4. I chose an open box on purpose so I could buy a BB warranty on top for absolute peace of mind for 5 years at a very fair price.
