I've been buying these for my disposable battery needs for years and I don't think I've ever had one leak. Certainly not in storage. It could very well be that other brands (such as Home Depot mentioned above) are a better option though.

I've never had a good reason to move away from these for the price/performance.

I've tried these over the years, and I've never had great luck with them. They're not terrible, but they seem to leak more than other brands and they don't last quite as long as other brands. That's just my experience.

This is strange... I've never had a single battery leak on me at all over the last decade. Whether Amazon brand (which I have a ton of, from 9V to AAA), cheapo ACDelco, or brand like Energizer.

I've tried these over the years, and I've never had great luck with them. They're not terrible, but they seem to leak more than other brands and they don't last quite as long as other brands. That's just my experience.

Buy these only if you plan to use them within the next few months. They leak when stored for long periods.

I always store my batteries in the freezer. Never had a problem with them leaking. Not sure if it does anything, but it's what I've always done.

Same. My go to these days is the Home Depot store brand. If you buy enough at once can get them for a great price per battery.

I have had good luck with Amazon batteries, and find them solid bang for the buck. I presently have some that are 4 to 5 years old simply stored in a Battery Daddy, and none are leaking.

Switched to these from Kirkland after multiple electronics ruined from corrosion. Haven't had one leak in the 5? years I've been using them.

I've never had any Amazon Basics battery leak over the last 5 years since I went exclusively to them as disposables. Every single other brand has leaked and some ruined various flashlight type products and other devices.The Carson lighted magnifiers seemed to almost cause all the other battery brands to leak. Amazon brand works fine, no leaks. I can't say if they last longer than the other brands since that is highly subjective to each specific product. I'm sure someone on youtube makes videos of that.

Good timing with hurricane season. I've been using these batteries for years, never had a single leak and they work great for disposable needs.

The only brand that has leaked on me in recent memory is Rayovac. I had to toss a bunch of them after they nearly destroyed a few Xbox controllers of mine and noticed more than a few leaking in the packages.
