Seems like a pretty good deal since it comes with battery for the price. But not available for shipping to me or available for pick up anywhere near.

Looks like it is charging a delivery fee now. I revised the post to store pickup only. Thanks.

I got it a few days ago. I have 18v Ryobi blower and was quite skeptical about this one.

But the difference is huge, this one really blows! Plus a battery that i can use for my hedge trimmer and lawn mower!

I got this same model for a family member last year (same price). This one in the post (40v, 530CFM) was considerably better than a ryobi whisper 18v one+ (I think its like 430 CFM) that I use. As much as I'd prefer to stay in the one+ family, for blowers, this 40V is the one I would recommend instead of any one+ model I've tried.
(and don't even get me started on the terrible 'turbo' button on the 18V models; I'll never buy one with a 'turbo' button again. Pretty sure this 40V one does not have that [which is good]).

light enough to dry a car? or too large and unwieldy?

Too large and it's not exactly easy to control when it's on. LOTS of wind force. For a car, Milwaukee's M12 version would be great. I have both and love each

My 40v ryobi blower that's about 4 or 5 years old is going on the blink and acting up. Plus parts of the plastic blades from the inside are starting to break and doesn't feel as powerful. Went ahead pulled the trigger on this one for pick up tomorrow. Old one is bound to stop anyway now!!

Too unwieldly (IMO). I have a similar 40V to the one posted here as well as this one, which is perfect for drying a car and very popular with the detailing community. Of course it goes on sale occasionally too:
