Have the 8 GB RAM, and turning on the "reduce animations" (Settings -> Accessibility -> Vision enhancements -> Reduce animations (toggle on) made a HUGE difference and is a game changer! Feels much faster and snappier in response. Initially had animations reduced to 0.5x under the developer option, and still felt jittery at times. But the reduce animation makes this feel like a $500+ tablet!

Having bought this and only using iPad previously, I find the experience a little sluggish and less responsive. Most importantly, the screen just isn't very bright in comparison. May be my new eyelashes getting in the way, but my kids also felt the same way about the brightness. They said I was delusional on the responsiveness, to each their own I guess. Smilie

Same, but doing a rebuy brings me from 155 to 125. $30 is much better than the 5% offered by support, who wouldn't even budge to get 10% as a meeting in the middle.

I just ordered the new iPlay60 Mini Pro from Amazon with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage from Amazon for $140 with their launch coupon. Should be here next week. I have been looking for a smaller tablet, and this one seems to be perfect in terms of size (8.4" 1080p display), and weight (310 grams). The A9+ is quite heavy at 480 grams.

I also just ordered the 8.7" version of the Samsung A9 international version from eBay for $90 open box. Both the iPlay 60 Mini Pro and the Samsung A9 8.7" have the Mediatek G99 SOC. Looking forward to trying some smaller Android tablets after being stuck with big and heavy 10-11" Android tablets for so long. I wish more manufacturers made smaller and lighter tablets and phones.

Was tempted to also order the 8GB A9+ for $154, but I already have a nice 11" tablet with an OLED display (Lenovo P11 Pro Gen 2), so decided to control my constant urge to buy more gadgets. Lol.
The Snapdragon 695 is the same processor they use in the OnePlus Nord N30 phone. This should be much faster than the Mediatek processor in the Amazon Fire Max 11 even though it dates back to 2021. Having 8GB of ram should also make this A9+ tab pretty decent for watching movies and playing games.

Thank you for posting this! We are homeschooling this year and I was able to get two of these for my kids to watch their video lessons and was able to use the EDU discount. I had to submit our certification document from the state but they approved it!
