These are the paddles you let your friends who are new to pickleball ... borrow, knowing they may never be returned.

True, but someone who is new should play with garbage paddles at least a few times before committing $100. Maybe even try a nice paddle of a friend for a few games.

A beginner what have any idea what a drop, spin, touch, reset etc mean.

Debating if I need extra junk in my place, or if I'll actually find these useful for something.
I wouldn't. Back then I would collect so much free stuff, but then later on, I realized I never used it, so it would be a waste of space, time, and resources. Now I just get stuff I'm planning on using. Getting rid of stuff is also hard for me lol.

Pick up was a joke at my Tmo store. About 10 people inside and two employees. You had to sign in and state what you're there for. I heard three people come in after me for the PB set. The employee didn't have the aptitude ask the person upgrading to hold on in order to hand out 4 PB sets.

Just picked up a set and am very disappointed with these paddles even though they were free. No one plays with wooden paddles anymore. Wood was the standard when pickleball was invented in the 60's. Modern paddles are made with hard plastic, polypropylene, etc. and are not expensive to make. These are too heavy and hard to let kids play with them. Also the paper insert incorrectly calls them racquets not paddles. Racquets have strings. These are better off as paper weights.

You may need a T-Mobile SIM for the app to verify.
I did not have any problems getting T Life to work on my Verizon iPhone with my dad's login information.

Any one know how to get T-life app to work on another phone? My wife has t-mobile but I don't so I would like to use the app on my phone under her account. All in getting is account information after logged in with no option for Tuesday perks. TIA.
You install the app on your phone and log in with her credentials (email/password) It will send a verification code to her phone that you'll need to enter and that's it

I have one line went to 2 different stores and got 2 from each with no wait time. Even screenshot of the time worked along with the name. I did this on behalf of the tmobile family which has 4 different lines

Did you have to have all 7 phones in the store with you? This is the first time I've went in to get anything, and I only got 1 but have 3 lines. Both of my sons weren't with me so I didn't even ask for ones for them.
It depends on the rep.

I've taken 4 phones in and have told them I couldn't bring the 5th phone and they give me 5 items.

I've also heard people behind me say they didn't know they could bring their partners phones and the rep gives them an extra one

please do not promote stuff like this
they will get stricter with the promos
bad enough that currently you need to authenticate each line in order to use the tlife app, at least on iOS

I went to a Metro by T-Mobile store and walked in at 10:45 and walked out with two Pickelball sets from two phones within a minute or two. So if you have a Metro store nearby, give them a shot instead of trying to go to an actual T-Mobile store.

I just picked them up, they're made of wood so I guess it's more like those beach paddles

Just to provide some data point. Each box has 66 sets of pickles. When I was there redeeming all my lines, they went through about 10 boxes. I'm guessing each store has at least 1000 sets if not more.
Do you have an idea of the size of the box with 66 sets of pickles and the space needed for 10+ of such boxes?
I am pretty sure the store you went threw all their phones/tablets/accessories out of the door to squeeze more floor space for those free pickle sets.
You must be living in a heaven neighborhood.

Let's say it takes each person 1 minute to get 6 free sets, then it takes 11 minutes to finish up one box. It probably takes more time if each person only get 1 set for 20 seconds or 1 minutes. So you waited at least 110 minutes to get your free sets. You are so committed to playing pickle balls.
