Lavazza drinker here. Super crema is like a nice a smooth layer on top of the espresso darkness, its great. The flavored coffees in general are trash, always better to add your own flavor rather than some baked in flavor profile... Lavazza is the best coffee in its class. I STRONGLY suggest direct order from their US site, they have a club etc. This amazon stuff is risky, you may get fresh beans, you may not. Lavazza direct, you get them every time. I only mess with direct, Amazon has historically reduced things due to freshness imo. The taste is noticable in any coffee bean if its getting staler. Lavazza when brewed fresh in a press or machine will produce a robust coffee that tastes like it smells. WONDERFUL.

I don't believe Lavazza makes flavored coffee. From their web page, Super Crema has "...notes of roasted hazelnut and brown sugar."

Can I grind these up and put them in my universal k-cup machine for a nice cup of coffee? Or will the universe smite me for it because it's not an expresso machine?

You can grind as needed and put into whatever machine. It is not specifically for espresso, but more commonly used for espresso. At $11.xx per bag, it's a great price for any fresh grind use case.

Coffee beans from Amazon or their vendors is never a deal, at least for me. They are sometimes old. They get rancid/stale quickly possibly because of their storage or other issues. There is a big difference in Lavazza from Amazon vs the same from Costco or Costco business - espresso and gran crema variety for me.

Don't fall for the low prices, if you want good quality.

I think it's just a Typo. This flavor product doesn't even exist on their website. The brown sugar is just a hint will not even notice it
