I wasn't originally going to post this, but believe it or not, this looks like the lowest price ever. The Milwaukee version of this is really expensive as well. The Bosch version does appear to be more compact. I've looked around, and nobody else appears to be close to this price, and most retailers are selling this die grinder at full price. If anyone has *ever* seen this or the Milwaukee version cheaper than this price, please let me know.

What would be the most common use for home? It seems it's usually for metal/auto work.

Thank you

This is just a Dremel. Dremel sells cordless ones now too. Plus the attachments are plenty on that system so I'd stay away from this
Dremel rotary tools typically use 1/8" shank accessories. This is listed as a 1/4" die grinder which typically use 1/4" shank grinding burrs and other accessories. I would expect this to be able to remove more material faster, with the use of commonly available 1/4" carbide grinding burrs. For the application shown in the pictures, using a sanding cup or disk, it might be a toss up speed wise, but the angled form factor might lend itself better to the task of prepping a surface for paint.

This is very handy for the diy handy person. Especially to smoothen metal and wood edges like cutting closet wires, repair sharp edges, and even steel spoon roughed up by garbage disposal Smilie

Good deal, and at least on par with the HD hack pricing for the Milwaukee M12 version.

Depends on which family of tools you're bought into and to be fair M12/M18 have far more options if you're going beyond basic DIY.

Didn't know this existed. Just started switching over to M12 from Bosch, so don't want to buy more in that ecosystem. Looks cool though. Love my Bosch tools but not as many options as other brands.
