These are disposable gloves. Once you take take them off they're done. They make reusable nitrile gloves for yard work. They're twice as thick as these because tugging on things like weeds is the quickest way to rip a glove. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Garde.../322785479

I dont think either of your issues amount to the gloves fault.

They are not meant for yard work and they are not meant to be removed and reused.

For 6 mil gloves? I'd love 100 for $5.

I normally buy these for $13.99. Still a couple bucks off which is great but not the typical Amazon MSRP markup.

Mil thickness claims mean nothing. HF's 5 mil gloves rip like wet toilet paper

these gloves are garbage... had to change one glove within minutes while pulling out some crabgrass cause it ripped soo easily. it feels nice but its cheap material.

i even had a moment when i took off the gloves to go use the restroom and when i tried to put the gloves back on, the end ring snapped off and ripped another glove

I bought this brand recently, but bought 8 mil. Happy with them. I use them primarily for working on the cars (oil changes, etc). Not sure about 6 mil. Would probably work fine, but I don't mind spending a bit more on 8 mil.

I'm going to try this brand. They are 5.5mil and $7.30 for 100 after 15% S&S for me.

In for one box as well.

For thinner gloves (3-4mil) I find vinyl more durable than nitrile, and not as stretchy (prone to tearing when putting the gloves on). Out of 3-4 brands on AMZ I tried, the ForPro line (TNG Worldwide) seems the better of the set.

Don't you hate when a brand new shinny a. $$ glove just explodes when you touch the first bracket or boltMad Just the other day I opened a brand new box of generic gloves I've never used before, put them on and as soon as I reached the hood safety latch BOOM glove split! LMAO

Go by the brand and customer reviews. You'd be surprised how some gloves with same mil thickness perform better than others. Try Thor, Raven, Gloveworks, or Venom. GW's on sale atm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004BR8KB4

Not all manufacturers have same process, nor are they true to their mil thickness rating. Take batteries for example. Many Chinese batteries do not meet same aH claims as their Korean/Japanese counterparts. You can't just go by a single metric claim.
