No battery = poor deal at this price. 16" w/ battery and charger was only $20 more this week

I was intrigued by this deal. You made me change my mind. I bought the 16" with 4 amp battery+charger for $200. So for 2" more cut length I'll just stay with 16"

Thanks for posting this OP. I bought this for $239 during prime day. Tried price matching to this through customer service but apparently Amazon can't price match Amazon. Instructed me to buy it again at this price and return the higher priced one originally purchased a couple days ago. Again, thanks OP, saved me $50 and it's only $10 more than it's historical lowest price. It's nice to finally get my hands on the 18" version as it's much more useful than the 16".

I have the 16" and bought an Ego 18" bar for it out of necessity. It works great!

So does the new(I have model 1613) from Georgia from 16" has the same torque speed as larger 18"? All I see is an equivalence to Gas 40cc.

If yes then I guess the feature missing from 16" is the auto tensioner?

I have both 16 and 18. Go with the 18. More powerful.

If you use 18 a lot, some people are complaining about the chain tightening mechanism. It supposed to be easy and toolless, but it comes loose. 16 and 20 doesn't suffer from that problem. Just fyi

personally I have both 16 and 20 for different size cuts. 16 is great, but bigger ones have better motors

I have the 18 and concur with the chain tensioning problems. The lone tensioning dial over tightens the chain while under tightens the bar. I've done a fair amount of web searching and this is a common problem that cannot be addressed by simply tightening and then backing off a bit. My whole bar wobbles now. I probably have 5 hours of total use thus far.
