Any idea when this expires? Verizon chat agent is adamant that I'm not qualified because I'm a current Netflix subscriber and suggested I cancel my subscription which just renewed until Aug 15 and then I should be eligible.
The press release says august 31st but who knows if you can trust that?

Activated both and all seems to be working. Used the same email for Peacock and Netflix that do not match the email on my Verizon account.

When I first tried to move forward, they would not let me add the American Express but this time they need and my autopay debit card has not been changed for my monthly bill.

FYI, it said pending under netflix but when I clicked on set it up it worked right away.

Thanks everyone.

For those trying to time their purchase against their existing subscriptions, you have 30 days to activate after you purchase. Here is the relevant section from their ToS:

"You will not be charged for most +play Services until You activate the third party service by visiting the third party's website or user interface and setting up an account with the third party. +play will direct you over to the third party's site at the end of any completed +play transaction. In the case of +play Services that include two or more seperate subscriptions (a "Bundle"), you'll be charged upon activation of anyone subscription in the Bundle. Prior to charging you for any +play Services, we will apply a temporary authorization hold for the full value of the Services in advance, which will appear as a pending charge in your account's payment method, until you activate the Service(s). We will, however, apply a temporary authorization hold for the full value of the Services in advance, which will appear as a pending charge in your account's payment method. You are responsible for ensuring that You activate all Services that You purchase through +play, and notifying us immediately of any issues. If you do not activate the Service within 30 days of enrollment, or if we are unable to charge the payment method you provide us, we have the right to cancel the transaction, and you may be unable to re-enroll in the same +play offer at the same price."

For the people that have signed up for Peacock through this deal, did you get to pick you email tied to the account or was it automatic from Verizon?

didn't want to risk it going away, so just signed up under another household's account and will wait to link Netflix once Starz deal expires next week.

For Peacock, it let me pick my existing account that hadn't been active in a while.

Under the last deal (stars/Netflix) - everything started day I signed up NOT when I activated so be warned on this one when it comes to billing cycles.

I chatted again with Verizon support this morning since my Netflix is still in a Pending state. They asked me if I was a current Netflix subscriber, which I am, but I pointed out the terms clearly said that was ok. They agreed that it was, and said there was a technical issue on the backend that they would work to resolve, which should allow me to then activate Netflix. So I'm stuck waiting until they hopefully figure that out.

Beware!!! Peacock renews your service automatically, without sending out an email telling you that renewal will occur. This is a predatory practice.

Even Sirius warns you of an upcoming renewal. You can cancel Peacock and continue watching until you expiration date if you pay for annual.

So you weren't forced to us your email that Verizon uses?

For anything like this, I use citi's virtual cards and have it expire before the renewal so even if I forget to cancel it won't be able to charge.

Once you pay, it asks you to create a Peacock account. When you start it offers to use an existing account or any email you like. It is not linked to email you use on your account.

When the Peacock account is done, you go back into manage subscriptions and click on the link to start your Netflix subscription. It then asks what email you would like to use including for an existing Netflix account. Again, not linked to the email you are using to your Verizon account.

You can cancel both right away and they will still work for the year and you should not have to worry about auto renewal

Happy streaming!

Word of caution, I successfully redeemed everything this morning, but after learning I could not add extra members, I've been trying for hours to cancel/ refund with Verizon support. They claim there are no charges on my account from a +play subscription, despite me explaining the promotion and having the charge clearly displayed on my account.
