If I already have Peacock, anyone know if this stacks a year to what I've already paid for?

Edit: Details say for new Peacock subscribers so I'll assume not.

Edited Edit: contacted peacock support and they prorated a refund and canceled my account. Then just followed the Verizon link and all worked like a charm.

After SEVERAL hours with Verizon customer support, we went round and round to try and figure it out I could not get this deal.
My guess is, if you have EVER had a Netflix/Peacock/Starz deal, you can never again get a deal.
The fine print does not say this. I never got a definite reason why.

I've been a FIOS customer and was unable to get this deal. Then I happened to just switch to verizon mobile as well for wireless, went in that account, and was able to activate this deal in minutes (after spending HOURS trying and failing to activate when I just had FIOS, even though the deal appears to me with my FIOS account). So I think that this deal really is just for Mobile customers but NOT for FIOS only? That was my experience at least.

I agree they should really clear this up on their end and not advertise what you can't buy. It's wildly frustrating if you are "just" a FIOS customer.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't care who it is for at this point. But the offer completely comes across that it is available for all Verizon customers. Seriously, who is running this show and allows this misinformation to continue? If I'm going to a major corporation for my services. Shouldn't we expect better than this?

To me, this is like amateur hour stuff here. I've managed over 100 people across several billion dollar contracts and this is just whacked to me. People would be fired on my watch at this point. Not a good look for any major company. This type of stuff will only bleed you customers, not gain them. simple logic to me and whoever is in charge should be gone immediately.

I am a FIOS internet only customer, and was able to add this and complete my purchase for $80+taxes, about 2 weeks ago. I dont have wireless plan with verizon as I use Tello. This shows up as a single payment on my credit card account, and on my netflix account it correctly reflects the premium membership is paid for 12 months.

So I doubt this will impact FIOS only customers who have already purchased it.

I just signed up for verizon 2 months ago on Unlimited Plus where I get HBO and Netflix for 10 bucks extra a month. I just purchased this 80 dollar offer.. Would I still be billed the 10 bucks by verizon? Does this break the offer?

You need to remove that perk, it is a separate billing, otherwise you will be billed monthly. I did the same as you, but cancelled the Netflix + MAX perk. Unless you need the MAX? I also have Disney+, so I did that one with Hulu and MAX without ads for $30 a month, because I get $20 reimbursement from Amex Platinum.

Got grandfathered in and still paying Netflix through iTunes (using discounted apple giftcards). Does anyone know if this deal will still work if you're not paying Netflix directly?

my year is coming up next month so shopping around... some new offers coming up I think. Hoping for MAX and Netflix bundle on internet. I don't want their cell bundle and I don't really trust VZW a whole lot.

I've been trying all day on multiple devices and I can't check out with this deal. FiOS only customer. I get the grayed out check box and "Accept and Continue" button. Anyone figure out a way around this? I tried editing my address, adding new cards which continues to fail. What a POS web site! Verizon should be embarrassed although I read somewhere that this might be intentional so customers cannot cancel subscriptions easily. Can't sign up for stuff either!

I got the deal, but how do you get Premium+ (ad-free)? I thought premium was ad-free, my mistake.

I don't mind paying the difference, but don't see a Verizon upgrade option. Otherwise, can't watch Peacock with ads and will have to resubscribe.

I suppose $80 for a year of Netflix is still good.

Mobile customer here. I had the STARZ-Netflix deal, which just expired on 7/31. Customer support said I would be eligible at the beginning of my next billing cycle (Monday). I have tried repeatedly, but when I select to get the deal it disappears. No reason given; just not there anymore. Totally frustrating. Customer service said I should be able to purchase it, but no dice.

Was given this website to contact Verizon "executives". On 22 Aug I submitted a brief version of my epic quest to get this promo and received a call, an honest to God phone call, from Brandon. Brandon like all the CS agents I've spoken, promised to get me a solution to this.

I was just able to purchase the $80/year deal as a FIOS internet only customer. I did have issues adding a new payment method, but it seemed to load my previously saved payment methods fine. So to add a new credit card, I actually went to my FIOS bill, added the payment method there, and paid $1.00 to my bill to get it to stick.

Then when I went back to shop on +play, I was able to select the new payment method.

Same here. But I also have verizon home phone landline. Maybe that's the reason it went through with no problem?
