Take videos and pictures of your device - I almost got played by them. I've traded in 6-7 devices to Samsung; on my Fold4 I traded for a S24U, they said the screen was cracked after receiving the device. I had to call in, send pictures and video, after which they pulled the "unboxing video" and confirmed it was an error on their end and reissued the full credit. I had always read about it on Reddit, however I got to experience it first hand. Take video of the powering down, showing no damage, packing it (have this all ready ahead of time), and handing it to the Fedex rep in a continuous cut. This made a difference.

I managed after about 30 times opening and closing out of the browser and the app to get the referral, the EDU, and the $50 app discount to apply in the app bringing the subtotal down to $785. The problem is when I go back to the browser it takes away the EDU discount. I've gotten the discount starting from the browser and get the referral code, but then I lose the $50 app discount. I am trying to get all three and the 15% CB, but so far I can't get it to work.
I have seen this exact issue many times over the last few years... only way to solve it by opening a new Incognito session in Chrome. Samsung website caching is notoriously awful!

I can't imagine paying nearly a grand for a cell phone. I've had flagship quality phones for at least 12-15 years and never paid anything remotely close to a grand.

Follow my instruction, you should get cheaper price for both S24U and ZF6 too

Steps to get the price of $785.99 for S24U

Subtotal $785.99
Total Savings $634.00
Promotional Discount(s) -$320.00
Referral Discount(s) -$55.00
Education Savings -$209.00
Promo Code -$50.00

1. Log on to Samsung Shop App, with a new account (account has no previous orders, canceled order is fine)
2. Add item to cart, get to the checkout page. You should see $50 discount for first time Shop app
3. Go to browser, select education offer program
4. Add referral code
5, Use a cashback site to complete the transaction
Thank you and user kevagain. It took me 21 tries(not exact, added 1 attempt to kevagain). I had to humble myself. I started at step 1 after deleting the app, restarting the phone (just in case), and reinstalling the app. The $50 promo code finally showed up.

My S22U has a broken screen, 1 broken camera glass, and faulty antenna.
Repair quote from SS store and ubreakwefix was $380-$425 before tax. Subtotal after trade in is $649.19. Glad I waited for this deal. TY

Only see 15%
I dont think there is an 30% cashback. you can get 30% by getting AMEX points instead of dollar cashback. 15% on a $1000 purchase is 15000 points (10 points/dollar) which can be valued at 2cents when redeemed for some airfare, but this 2 cent amex point valuation is subjective as in spend 15000 amex points for a flight that is $300 (hence ymmv).

Me too with small Crack in screen.. can i get any trade in discount for it?
Doesn't look like it. Samsung hasn't offered any decent trade in deal since this phone released. I've traded in Ultras twice for like $50 all in. Samsung is getting stingy with the 24.

Tried Incognito and clearing the browser and cookies. Everytime I log in it wants to verify the edu email and takes it away. It's stupid that it works in the app and it works on the browser without the app discount but can't get it all together.

How does this compare to pixel 8 pro? Or even pixel 9 pro coming out?
So far, Pixels have had the best picture quality and really good video recording. But their chipset is miles behind Snapdragon 8 gen 3 (which the S24 Ultra has). Also, my Pixel 7 failed when exposed to water despite their IP rating. They denied a warranty claim as water damage is not covered. I'm going for S24 Ultra.
