No. This model does not support Linksys Mesh; it is a standalone router only.
Can I use the Linksys app with the Linksys MX4300 (LN1301)?
No. This router does not support Linksys cloud services; therefore, the Linksys app is not supported.

The only way I'd buy a Linksys router is if it could run open source firmware.

This seems to be a binned single unit router from the MX12600/AX4200 line. Likely a business focused model similar to the Netgear WAX202, though this seems newer. No mesh support and is purely standalone router.
Bought one to check it out and will update here. Looking at 160Mhz support(probably not looking at its siblings) and what router options exist if any. Support page seems to indicate that this doesn't have VPN features nor basic security features which is worrying. No indication of a basic firewall or DFS support either.

You can also buy on Walmart (see above) and Amazon directly

Here's the OpenWRT thread

This seems like a good OpenWRT device.
Note that I DO NOT recommend casual normies buy this unless they plan on using OpenWRT. This device is being dumped by Linksys because it's End of Life/End of Support.

So it's likely OpenWRT would work.
Linksys FW is no longer updated and pretty limited. So OpenWRT is pretty much a must.
This is even cheaper than the 3 pack of MX4200 for $100 deal.
$25 for a tri-band AX router with OpenWRT support is a really good deal.
I'm running OpenWRT on the similar MX5300 without any issue.

However, since FCC certification is a legal requirement, if they made a different version, there would be another FCC certification for the new version. When I searched the FCC database, the only FCC certification that I found for LN1301 / MX4300 just points to the MX4200 data.

purely speculation on my part.
