For anyone who got this device, use v1 squash-upgrade for initial flash.
Or if you've got a serial console you can use that to choose the partition to boot.

This seems like a good OpenWRT device.
Note that I DO NOT recommend casual normies buy this unless they plan on using OpenWRT. This device is being dumped by Linksys because it's End of Life/End of Support.
Has anyone been able to get it to work yet? I see there is speculation about it working, but no actual confirmation.
(Also, I never realized Woot shipping was so slow. I never shopped there often so I just assumed it'd be the same as Amazon. Does anyone actually have theirs and has been able to tinker with it?)

Also I no longer pull the trigger and ask questions later when it comes to WOOT, since you have to pay return shipping even through amazon for their products...
Their vulnerabilities exist in Linksys' products.
You get good range/service from the start.
It's not worth dealing with a router that has problems/weak just to save $200.
Many of us spend $500+ on internet service per year, why cheap out on the device that sends out weak signal/service. Over 5 year, you will be spending 2.5k+ on service.
Think of your service as a fire hydrant(internet service). You don't want to cheap out and buy a gardening hose and attach to it.
