They can't pay their bills with likes and views. This is the real world, not a fairy tale.

$10 a month for a tool that just scrapes websites and open APIs for inventory data that is accurate maybe 10% of the time. A tool that works 10% of the time isn't worth anywhere near $10 a month. Also, their whole website has adsense and featured deal ads plastered everywhere. Their adsense partner they use even freely reports that they make 100-120k a month on ad revenue. https://freestar.com/case-studies/brickseek/ Maybe its worth it for scalpers/resellers but they should at least have feature tiers for people that just want to find a deal and have fun searching for it.
Pretty sure it's you and whoever made the tool $10 a month that lives in a fairy tale

If the tool is so terrible, then how come it makes $100-120k a month in ad revenue?

The article is from 2018 if you actually read it, this is when it was still free, at its peak, and was somewhat more accurate.
Have you ever even used it? What justifies $10 a month.
