My new a9+ that came yesterday has Android 14 already installed, with 4 years of updates to come. The 8GB / 128GB model was $111 after trading in an ipad Gen 5 that no longer gets updates. Thank you, SD!

They have the stupidest naming pattern, if you don't follow them, you're lost. I have an S8 tablet that's at least 2 years old, had an S6 Edge+ phone almost 8 years ago. At least they switched their phone names to follow what year we're in.

is this comparable with Ipad with apple pen. Apple combo is going to more expensive ($299 + $50 for pen) vs $210 for both.
If you use it for taking note, s6 lite and s-pen is much better for writing experience. S6 lite also has really good battery . Otherwise, Ipad is better. I have both, s6 lite has somewhat yellowing tint for the display, it's also super bright to use at night when light off even on lowest brightness setting, it's also more laggy but writing is much more comfortable. Ipad is better on almost everything else i use.
