I have a similar device from another brand, Rachio. I use it as a valve to fill my pool. This one is half the price of the Rachio ($99 for 2 valves). So it's worth a try I think
I bought this a couple of weeks ago. So far, it's been great. Had a manual one that worked well, but I love the fact that I'm able to cancel its scheduled time when it's going to rain.
