Part of the benefit of these devices is that they are portable ( however they are heavy ), so you are paying extra for something you don't care about.

This also is one leg so 120v, I would guess you could setup a manual transfer switch and do some redneck engineer with a high gauge pigtail cord and power a lot of devices, but you wouldn't be able to power anything 240v.

Personally for your use case I'd go modular and build a battery bank here are some expired slick deals just for reference == 100ah 24v batteries with built in bms for ~$340 so 4 of those is 9.6Kwh and about $1300 + decent combo unit inverter/cc now for around $500 if you only want to stick with 120v 3000w or so + get around1000w of solar power https://slickdeals.net/f/17535861-100w-eco-worthy-bifacial-solar-panel-47-99-shipped?src=SiteSearchV2Algo for ~$500

So spend 1300+500+500 = 2300 + cost of cables / connections / brackets ( maybe another $500 ) you'd be roughly the cost than this unit, more storage power (and cheaper to expand) and way more solar power which might be enough for you to do a balancing act and stay grid independent on some of the outlets in your house ( which could be a cool backup power source as well ).

Please beware!!! I received this order today. I paid $2,899 for the option WITH THE BATTERY. However, the order arrived WITHOUT THE BATTERY, and marked as FULFILLED. I'm trying to contact the customer support but no response at all. I plan to file a BBB complaint and police report for theft, missing order, so I can provide its evidence to dispute with my bank. Based on BBB Complaint, it looks like I was scammed like others.

I have tried several ways to contact customer support, but there is no hope. I was aware about issue with the merchant from several previous posts on Slickdeals and BBB. However, since I'm on 70/30 side, I decide to take the chance, and now I take the pain. Nevertheless, I will update my case in the next few days. These should be shipped as separate shipments. No shipping company would accept a package that's 200lbs. Give it a day or two. And keep us posted please.

BBB once contacted a rogue company on my behalf and attempted to mitigate. Let's see how it goes. Lots of people on SD could be affected. (including myself as I order from them to)

This. For some reason companies don't inform beforehand or give a second tracking number. Wait a few days before contacting BBB or authorities. I'm not the future, try purchasing using a credit card. Easier to deal with issues and obtain results than BBB or police.

Update for my case.
I got a phone call from the customer service after leaving voicemail. They said that they forgot to send a second tracking number. Therefore, magically, my order now has another tracking number with one box of 93 lbs. Therefore, I believe this is the extended battery that I am waiting for. Once I receive the package, I will update with you all whether I will receive it or not.

Please save yourself the embarrassment and don't call your PD to report this as a theft.
