I logged into my UFB Direct account today and I saw that my APY was listed at 5.14%APY. It has been 5.25 for a long time and their website home page says 5.25%.

I called UFB and the CSR said it was a "glitch" and the rate currently is 5.25, and they're working on fixing the "problem".

My suspicion is that they're preparing to drop their 5.25% rate soon for 5.14 and they probably jumped the gun or ran a test on their website or something and I just happened to see it.

Anyway I thought I'd post a FYI here just in case anyone is interested and therefore wants to keep an eye on their account in the near future.

This might be just a "glitch", but maybe not. YMMV and just FYI.

Or just be ready to move $$ to T-Bills or elsewhere.

Vote with your wallet.

That is IF they actually do drop the rate.

But in reality, 5.25 or even 5.36 at TD isn't going to last forever, but I'd rather see the drop coming in advance than have it catch me by surprise if it matters to me.

I'm not setting a "Deal Alert" for pitch forks or torches. I'll let you do that. Peace
