While not the best clamps, this table is worth every penny.

I've had one of these bad boys for years. I've had one on my Camel list for a while. This deal is $10 better than what I was waiting for. Didn't realize that Best Buy sold these things! In for one!

Glad you like this deal. Wink

Best Buy's price is ~ $40 lower than other retailers' prices right now. (I was thinking Amazon might price match, but it hasn't.)

The two included clamps are weak.

Table sturdy. I don't use it often so it's nice it folds so if takes up less space. It comes assembled just take out of box and gtg. I looked at the Craftman one but so many people complained about the assembly I got this.

Mind elaborating on what way the clamps are weak? And can they be replaced with something better?

I have two of these tables. I picked them up when they were $80 new through an ebay deal. I love them. I reach for these over sawhorse or jawhorse tables by default due to ease of setup and being light. I did a bunch of tile / thinset work on them this spring. Cleaned up really easy. And I just used one to cut a pile of old board down to wood-stove size this weekend.

No opinion on the clamp quality. They got in the way and I took them off the table not long after getting them. I do use the clamps doing glue ups in projects unrelated to the table and they do the clampy things that clamps do.

Initially the fact they were plastic had me nervous. but they have carried hundreds of pounds of weight just fine. Very happy with them.

I often use the clamps for other projects. For example, if you've ever used the dewalt clamps they're much stronger than these.

These clamps will hold things, but not necessarily squeeze two pieces together to a great degree.

I did the same back in 2018 when I got house. I've used them for grinders, painting machine parts, drilling, pressing bearings, even as the base for a temporary coffee bar in my office until I could build a proper one. The clamps could be stronger as other have said, but overall these just work.

Too thin and not sturdy enough to hold for my use. I use them to hold a sharpening guide in place and it slides around. Clamps are for light use only.

I bought a heavy duty clamp separately.

Any recommendations on a pair of clamps that would be compatible to this Work Table? I have this table and do use the clamps on light duty projects but would like to find a pair of better clamps that is compatible to this table as it has groves that work with this particular laptop from the mfg.

Need one of these. Does anyone have any opinions on this vs. the Black+Decker Workmate which goes for $45 on sale every once in a while?

This looks a lot more robust but also much heavier as well.

I have had both - this one is SO much better. The workmate probably hasn't changed since the 70s when my dad had one.

This table is my absolute go-to when I am working around the house, and I'll probably get a second one here for $100 (even though the first one I got on a great deal).
