Also I think I read that the pen protocol is MPP so a surface pen would work with it?
The BBY variant also doesn't come with the usb-c hub.
Both these are only available when purchased directly from HP.
I have done and continue to do a personal technical deep dive on this machine as I assess it amongst other contenders. If anybody has any questions that I could answer, please feel free to ask.
I would recommend asking here instead of a PM, so everyone can benefit .
The 120hz? No, not much since it's mostly static and non-motion work. The 16:10 aspect ratio and the 3k screen does help as you can fit more on to your screen at any given moment, hence more productivity.

As far as wifi cards, make sure to download drivers directly from the wifi card manufacturer's website rather than any other source. Lenovo tends to ship with outdated drivers. It's always best to purchase computers with replaceable wifi cards, but I believe the spectre and g14 are the only ones among these that don't have them soldered down.

MPP = nTrig = wavy lines. It's an inherent flaw in the technology that cannot be corrected. You can work around it by rotating what you're drawing, living with higher smoothing, and/or drawing lines diagonal tot he digitizer grid faster, but you'll never get Wacom or Apple level of smoothness in all conditions. The pen performance, otherwise, is nice. And, yes, any MPP pen should work fine (I haven't tried my backup pens).
