$6 for 100 3mil gloves is a terrible deal. You can get 1,000 for $25 on woot pretty often, but I wouldn't recommend gloves this thin for most jobs.

I bought the 3 mil - yeah they rip just looking at them :-)
But they did do the jump changing my oil - but one did rip while working around metal edges.
Any thoughts on good 6 mil???? I hear harbor freight?

Absolutely, Harbor freight 6mil gloves are good for tough jobs. Even Costco gloves I've had great luck with them not tearing on tough jobs. If working with jagged metal they can definitely rip, but they are surprisingly strong for the thickness (less than 6mil) as well.

I have 3mil and have never tore them. But I'm also not an animal who man handles things either. Depends what your doing I guess.

They bought these gloves at work. Just taking them out of the box tears them.

If I'm paying $4.45 for a hand-e, it should be latex-free.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I love the quality of Harbor Freight nitrile gloves. Saying 'quality' and Harbor Freight in the same sentence was difficult. I use the 5 mil gloves regularly and they work as well as any 5 mil glove I have used. If you wait you can get the 100 count for $5.00. I think they are changing the 5 mill color from powder blue to neon green.
