And yet I don't see the CFM listed? That integrated light is a significant con also.
I picked up one of these[homedepot.com] 1 week ago for $89 (before coupon) and I think it's a better fan for less money. Yes, I know the sale is over, but those $10 off $100 coupons that HD is constantly sending out would bring it to $110. There's also this rando off eBay[ebay.com] selling one for $90 w/ FS.
But airflow doesn't matter when the integrated LED goes out and can't be changed
That's like complaining that you won't buy a TV because the backlight can go out and you can't replace it easily. It's designed to last as long as the fans service life.

Not apples to apples cuz they don't make TV's with user swappable backlights. LED's notoriously fail early, just like individual pixels in TV's. I'd much rather be able to change my light bulb even if it's only for color temp.
Haven't had to do it but it sounds like there are both specific LED replacement kits as well as many generic LED kits for ceiling fans. Quick scan on Amazon and you can find stuff for well under $20 with easy install.
So ... on the odd chance that the light dies before the fan it doesn't look like replacing the entire fan is your only option.

This fan model doesn't have compatible replacement integrated LEDs. I have one installed at my home. I'm going to disassemble and return it soon in Costco
Biggest plus with this fan is it is fairly easy to install unlike other fans.
I got this installed in my kid's room. It works really well with no noise, a lot of air movement. The light is dimmable and can get to very bright level. Looks really nice. Not sure about the non-replaceable light.
I am in market for 4 more fans. Hesitant to pull the trigger based on light.

I'm pretty sure the average person doesn't replace the ceiling fans in their house as often as they replace their TV. Also the process of changing out a ceiling fan is a little more work than a TV.

Turn on the lights via wall light switch.
Turn off the lights via remote.

Do the lights turn on in this case? Or do you have to hunt down the remote in order to turn them back on?
