FWIW the Wirecutter model seems to be FP-130 whereas the Beach Camera deal model is CFP-260. My sense is that the CFP-260 is an older model no longer manufactured by Cuisinart? To highlight one difference: FP-130 is 950W; CFP-260 is 650W.

Missed this identical deal from a month or 2 ago. In for one, thanks.

I got this processor from the previous deal. Works well, no complaints.

As for the unit design and functionality, generally happy with its performance. The smaller work bowl that is included doesn't work well with liquids. Spills over into the larger work bowl it's nested in.

(Edited 7/25 to reflect the fact that this model does NOT appear to be the same as that recommended by Wirecutter. Thanks to users @MaroonPlant5788 and @tracker2208.)

Do they have a return policy? Can't find it on the site.

Nevermind - found it https://www.beachcamera.com/pages...nd-returns

I bought one of these when it went on sale a few months ago, works great. I find myself using it mostly for quickly mixing batches of dough and shredding cheeses. Cleanup is mildly annoying since the lid assembly is three bulky pieces. Would be nice if it came with a basic, flat lid for when you aren't shredding/slicing. Cleans fine in the dishwasher.

It looks the same but different model #, FP-130AG. Hopefully it only means different accessories included and not motor power.

Found the same deal from beach camera on Amazon for $86. I thought I was getting the best deal ever lol. Received the package today. All parts look basically new.

This is NOT the FP-130. Looks like a previous generation equivalent.

i wonder if there is a dicing kit for it? Cuisinart's website is convoluted. they dont really set accessory standards much these day.

Mine did not come with the dicing kit. It came with the 4.5-cup insert.

Thanks. I bought the last one available I think. Oddly enough it has the model listed as FP-130 but the motor as 650W. Guess I'll see when it shows up.

Amazon product listing says FP-130 is 650W. Where did you see 950W?

I have the one with the dicing kit. You're not missing much. It shreds but not pretty. I would never use the diced vegetable pieces in a dish I was sharing. Aside from soup. It does fine for a soup.

The dicing does ok on celery and potatoes. But carrots get stuck in the disc no matter how fast or slow you push them through. And the cleanup is slow, because the blade is surgical sharp. Believe me. I learned that first hand. No pun intended. I'm no chef and I can dice and clean up faster and safer than using the dicing disc.

Mixing dough is a. disaster for me. The one dough I used it on, crawled up the middle spindle. Took a bit of time to clean it up. It was a sticky wet bread dough so maybe a less wet recipe would have no issues.

Other than that, it shreds very well and regular cleanup is easy. For the price, it's ok.

I've seen both wattage ratings for both models. I've tried to find official specs and failed.
