Sounds like your going to buy an ozark trail
Used a Leatherman Free P4 as a EDC as my daily as a construction site superintendent. Wound up downsizing to this since it's so much lighter yet still has many of the common tools I would need when coming across random site things I need to repair, cut, tighten, or fix. Yes it's not as heavy duty, but as it does 92% of what I need, I'd gladly walk back to field office or ask a tradesperson to borrow a tool. I just keep the SOG PowerPint in my safety vest, and P4 in my bookbag.

I've used the full size powerlock for years with no issues. I did break the can opener but it was easily replaced for cheap. The full size is pretty cheap now too, $51.46 on Amazon and Walmart. Anyway, I purchased this one. I might purchase a backup full size too.

I tried one of these as a replacement for my old Leatherman Juice (sadly discontinued). I wanted to love it, but I just couldn't. The build quality is clearly a step down from Leatherman, and it has the most godawful attempt at a scissors that I've ever had the misfortune of using. (It's a left-handed scissors for one thing, but even using it left-handed it still doesn't cut worth a crap.)

I ended up just buying a used Leatherman Juice off eBay. Even paying an inflated price, it's still just plain better.

I think the juice is what was stolen out of my car. Loved that thing.

Mine was 100% my fault. Forgot to lock the car that night because of a sequence of events. They left my crappy craftsman multi tool but took my juice.
