i think it's not too bad for the original Samsung case, but to be honest, I think "budget" tablet should stay "budget" so.......im going with 3rd party case which is like...5 or 7 dollar ish.

I paid $75 and added the case of $38= $113... Still very budget with an ergonomic/functional case for better utilization of that budget tablet

whaaaaaaaaa how did you get it for $75??? was it the 4gb one? If so, I'd recommend getting the 8gb one. I don't know about a9 but for my old a8 that I got for almost free for trading my super old galaxy note (they had a promo where if you trade in any phone, they would give $100 no questions asked) and edu discount and a discount promo, that a8 was quite unbearable. Unbearable, when I put it very generously. it only had 4gb memory and seriously, that s#!+ took good 3-4 sec to open any app. even after clearing all apps and clearing all memory possible. it only had 800mb ish left on available memory after system itself taking over almost 3gb. now it serves as a big clock next to my bed lol But, jokes aside, you should opt into the 8gb memory one. It's now $145 ish and this is because there is a California recycle tax (FCUK this, seriously, no point what so ever, only taking this S#!+ to take more money) and Cali tax being high. i bet if you live in other states, it would be close to $130. That price difference is will make a whole lot of difference. Between usable tablet and straight to the trash can or bedside clock. I feel like I just dumped a lot of dramatically incorrect sentences but I highly recommend going to 8gb. Cannot stress this enough

But no I purchased the 8GB ram + 128gb version. I tested it before, fine for my media consumption/reading, especially when changing the animation settings on the tablet.
