If you have Game Pass Ultimate already, it's usually cheaper to extend existing subs using Core codes. 3 months Core converts into 50 days Ultimate. Eneba has 3 months Core codes for about $13.

To me, anything at $10 a month for Gamepass Ultimate is worth it. Prices going up very soon.

Not worth it to try the VPN and conversion trick through India and other countries. Too much risk to get acct banned.

no, you can only stack up to 2 years now, it went from 1:1 to 3:2. So you can buy up to 3 years of core, buy a month of gamepass (such as this deal) and then the 3 years converts to 24 months plus the 1 month of gamepass you bought so 25 months. Not a terrible deal for around $120 after taxes.

Nothing is stopping you from purchasing games. If there are games that you enjoy the xbox store has some pretty cool deals around the holiday. But no... you can't keep games that you get from a subscription without the subscription, even if you try to go offline or something.

😂 I love pay in 4 but yeah paypal routinely bugs out. Pro tip if you get it just right with your cc closing dates you can get the pay in four payments to go over 3 months of cc statements.

I THINK the 2 year thing doesn't go into effect until September. As of now, I think you can still do 3 years. Someone correct me if I'm wrong tho

I'm correcting you. That's wrong. I know for a fact the 1:1 conversion ended last fall. It's 3:2 now. you can buy 3 years of core and it turns into 2 years of ultimate. Not a bad deal but only 2/3 as awesome as last year.

I just know because I got in right before the 1:1 ended and I was so happy I didn't wait longer.

Yep. After looking around a bit, I found a working 6% off code (GCDEALS6) and got 7 3-month Core codes to extend my GPU sub to July of 2027 for about $7.45/mo after conversion.

Not as good as the $4.35/mo I got last summer, but this is our brave new world.

Slight clarification... after converting 3 years Core into 2 years Ultimate, one can still add more time to their Ultimate sub up to 3 years (from the current date).

$7.45 a month is still a very good deal considering the price is now $20 for new subscribers (and soon for existing subs).

I think there's a good chance Microsoft will nerf conversion rates again when the September changes happen. That's why I keep encouraging people to stack as much Ultimate as they can now, because it's only going to get more expensive in the future.

Yeah, you still have a max of 3 years ultimate, but you can only convert 3 years to 2 at a time, so you can get the initial 2 years but then you don't get the 3:2 ratio since you are no wa current member, I think it's 2:1, so you could buy another 22 months to get that converted to 11 months and have the full 3 years.

If it were me I would take the 3:2 conversion. Let that expire after 2 years, then get another 3 years of core and do it again.

Even better if you just let your gamepass expires so you get 60 days for every 3 month core card you get. at a year core that would be 8 months ultimate

Nah, I've been an Xbox live/Game Pass sub for like 15 years. So, not willing to let it expire. I guess that deal is good for somone. This deal is good for someone who is close to expiring or someone who wants to just add months to their account.

I figure, I did this, now @ 6/2027, and I will use Bing/Xbox rewards to keep it always close to 3 years....a few min a day besides gaming and it's easy...

I should never need to pay for Game Pass again...
