It's a shame that it never got a sequel or remake. I remember loving this game at the time.

This is not the cheapest it has ever been (I think that would be $3) but this game is so good that I will always leave a comment to recommend it whenever it hits front page.

Game was so good. They wanted it to be some gta killer and because it wasn't they considered a flop. Game has sold over 11 million over its lifespan and sold over 2 million very quickly after release I think. I really dont get it.

Highly subjective I know but I judge a game by if I can't put it down once I start it. I have such a huge backlog so if a game grabs my attention it's huge. Currently that game is octopath traveler i finally started playing because it popped up on gamepass even though I have the switch version. But I could not put sleeping dogs down at all and played it daily until I beat it and then played some more to get some different endings. It's really a shame this game has no sequel.

cuz the gameplays repetitive. u literally do the same thing over and over whether that be driving to your destinations or attacking enemies

most games besides this one. every driving mission or fight mission is almost a copy paste of each other. i mean have you actually played it? or just speaking in terms of theory?

It's as repetitive as you make it.
For example, there are many ways to fight the enemies. If you choose to do the same thing every time, you can, but then you might find it repetitive.

It's an open world. You decide how to approach each task.

Possible pressure from China? The storyline has in one scene some very political dialogue.
