Possibly -- how are your Tetris skills?

It is my understanding that is not as much of an issue as it used to be. They treat the wood differently than before.
Sorry, but no, there are signs all around the lumber section of the big box stores that even suggest skin contact is not so safe, not that anyone reads them though.

You may be thinking of pallets though, they made it illegal to use some of the worst chemicals and now you can find most newer pallets are simply heat-treated and safe to use for this sort of thing.

If you want to build a raised bed with lumber, I'd suggest going with cedar planks/timbers over pressure treated pine anyways. Looks a lot nicer, pests don't like it and it holds up about as well.

Galvanized might leech zinc (which is what makes it galvanized, after all) that isn't particularly harmful and is a required nutrient in small doses. The potential to leech cadmium is a bit sketchier if that concerns you.

Tbh if you're looking for a quick or less permanent garden, I'd probably just till up part of the lawn. Surround it with a few lengths of cedar if you want to keep it enclosed. Maybe ring it with gravel to help slow weeds down. If you aren't into it (or your wife/kids give up after a few weeks) just till it up again and throw down grass seed next year

You would need to do it in a very well-ventilated area. To weld this stuff you'd need mad welding skills though. Sheet metal burns through very easily.

Looks like some items are marked as "Shipping: not available" so it's not where you are, but what you are ordering.

It is actually beneficial for a raised bed to not have any walls around it
Right! Because whatever walls are made of, you inevitably eat it. But if your walls are made of air, you have to be biting your teeth over the quality of the air where you live. Just the cost of living today. "No worries" used to be a saying. Today, worry! 😬 🤭

Why is the 6x3 squared almost 1/2 the price of the oval?
Between 6x3 square and the L shaped, which one is more value for money if shape doesnt matter?

Huh, interesting worried about the lead, but not the plastic leeching in gotcha.
How does it make sense to worry about plastic getting into the soil, then the plant, then the fruit? I think I'd be waiting about 100 years.
We are all exposed to plastic all the time. New car smell is off gassing and a million times worse than eating it.

The amount of lead leaching from the zinc plating would be about 10 thousand times less than the native lead levels in garden soil.
If the zinc isn't loaded with lead. And low quality (overseas) isn't really regulating that stuff.
